Job Description
Summary: Provident Bank is a highly regarded financial institution in New Jersey with a commitment to community service. They are seeking a Portfolio Manager Associate to support Senior Portfolio Managers in managing portfolios and conducting financial analyses related to commercial real estate.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Covenant Compliance of the CRE Portfolio
- Prepare initial financial review of borrower financials
- Prepares annual reviews of existing loans to assess credit quality and Covenant compliance; performs property inspections
- Assist multiple Senior PM’s with the monitoring and management of their portfolio
- Preparation of detailed excel Group Exposure Chart
- Preparation of Semi-annual construction reviews
- Detailed property descriptions and market analysis
- Detailed analysis of financial statements
- Project economics, income and expense analysis, tenant analysis, and property valuations
- Borrower and Guarantor analysis
- Assess lending risks, clearly identify offsetting mitigates and summarize recommendations
- Complete special projects as directed by the CRE Portfolio Manager Team Leader
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 0 - 1 years related within financial industry
- Ability to work in a Team Environment to ensure goals are met
- Strong verbal and written communicative skills
- Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Word and Excel)
