Job Description
Summary: Providence is a comprehensive health care organization that serves a diverse population across multiple states. They are seeking a Data Engineer I to design and build data-centric software applications that support clinical and operational processes within the healthcare system, focusing on cloud computing and big data methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build modern data-centric software applications to support clinical and operational processes across all parts of the healthcare system
- Build data pipelines and transformations, data enrichment processes, provisioning layers, and user interfaces to meet the requirements of key initiatives
- Emphasize sharing and enable collaboration with meticulous source control and documentation
- Work closely with the Product, Platform, and Architecture teams to deliver on joint efforts
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 or more years of related experience in AI/ML, data pipeline building, cloud computing, or big data store
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
