Clinical Research Assistant at Providence in Santa Monica, CA

Summary: Providence is a comprehensive health care organization dedicated to serving communities with a focus on patient care. The Clinical Research Assistant will support the Clinical Research Department in managing clinical trial patients, including tasks such as patient identification, screening, and data collection.

Responsibilities:
- Supports the Clinical Research Department in managing the clinical trial patients by assisting with patient identification, screening, registration and clinical trial data collection
- Assists the Clinical Research department in the in-take, enrollment and management of patients in the Clinical Research Department

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a State recognized vocational school, or equivalent educ/experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- New graduate, entry level experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical lab or ambulatory care setting
- 1 year background in medical field
- Clinical research experience in oncology
- 1 year experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical laboratory and ambulatory care setting, with special training, as appropriate
- EMR or IDX experience
