Job Description
Summary: ProSource Wholesale is one of North America's largest flooring and home project suppliers, with 150+ showrooms serving trade professionals and their clients. They are seeking a Product File Specialist to manage product data, maintain accurate product listings, and support sales success through effective product and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Download and process daily product data packages to update internal systems
- Maintain accurate product files, pricing, SKUs, measurements, and carton quantities
- Track and implement product price changes across systems and price lists
- Deactivate discontinued products and maintain clean, accurate product listings
- Manage product bundles, templates, and unreferenced product lines
- Communicate product updates, pricing changes, and inventory information to showrooms and internal teams
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and supplier partners
- Coordinate with vendor B2B departments to ensure product information stays current
- Respond to product-related questions from showrooms and corporate staff
- Assist with inventory adjustments, transfers, and annual inventory reconciliation
- Upload and maintain product and inventory information across company systems
- Help ensure event pricing and promotional pricing are accurately reflected throughout the business
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Excel required
- You're highly detail-oriented and accurate with data
- You enjoy working with systems, spreadsheets, and product information
- You're organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- You communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
- You take initiative and follow through on tasks
- You're comfortable learning new software and business systems
- Product administration, inventory management, purchasing, or data entry experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- RFMS experience preferred but not required
- Experience working with vendors, suppliers, or product catalogs
- Administrative, operations, or business support experience
- Experience in flooring, cabinetry, wholesale distribution, or building materials is a plus
