Summary: ProPharma is a consulting firm that empowers biotech, med device, and pharmaceutical organizations to advance scientific breakthroughs. The Data Analytics & Reporting Intern will support the collection, analysis, and reporting of business data to aid decision-making, gaining hands-on experience with databases and analytics tools. Responsibilities: - Assist in writing SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from relational databases - Support the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards using approved reporting tools - Help clean, organize, and prepare data for analysis and visualization - Perform basic data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency - Collaborate with team members to understand reporting requirements and business needs - Document data sources, report logic, and query processes - Participate in testing and troubleshooting of reports and analytics solutions - Present findings and summaries to team members in a clear and structured manner - Support ad hoc data requests and special analytics projects as assigned Required Qualifications: - Basic understanding of relational databases and data structures - Foundational knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data - Familiarity with data analytics concepts and basic statistical methods - Experience with reporting or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) - Ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear, meaningful reports - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Must be enrolled in at least junior or senior year of undergraduate studies.
