Design Engineer at Promech Automation in Pune(Chakan)

Roles & Responsibilities
• Design and development of Material Handling Equipment and automation solutions
• Preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM)
• 3D model preparation and detailed drawings
• Collection and evaluation of material quotations for standard parts
• Drafting and detailing of materials and assemblies
• Coordination with Production, Project, Procurement, and other internal departments
• Interaction with vendors and suppliers for technical clarification
• Support project execution and ensure design compliance with customer requirements

Desired Candidate Profile
• Strong hands-on experience in designing:
• Roller Conveyors
• Belt Conveyors
• Gantry Systems
• Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
• Turn Tables, Turnover Devices
• Pick & Place Systems
• Good knowledge of industrial automation and material handling concepts
• Proficient in SolidWorks (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills for client and vendor coordination
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work independently

Software Skills
• SolidWorks Advanced
• AutoCAD Working Knowledge
