UX/UI Internship at Prolaio in Chicago, IL

Summary: Prolaio is dedicated to improving heart care through innovative technology and data science. As a UX/UI Design Intern, you will collaborate with various teams to design intuitive digital experiences that enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows. Responsibilities: - Interpret business and technology requirements to create mobile and web screen flows - Prototype mobile and web experiences for user research and design presentations - Support design thinking workshops and user research sessions – from planning through execution and synthesis - Create detailed specifications for development and engineering teams - Understand mobile and web design language and standards Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, or a related field - A design portfolio that showcases storytelling, design thinking experience, and collaboration with technology — student work welcome - Proficiency in Figma with demonstrable attention to detail, especially regarding file organization and maintenance - Understanding of accessibility best practices Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with agile processes and software such as JIRA is preferred - Experience in pharma, wellness, or medicine is a plus Required Skills: Figma, Design thinking Important Skills: Accessibility best practices, Agile processes Nice-to-Have Skills: User research, Prototyping, Detail orientation, Pharma experience, Collaboration
