Responsibilities: - Support the month-end and year-end closing processes - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related footnotes, including Form 10-Q to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Maintain compliance with internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements - Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information - Gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting within a publicly traded company - Develop skills in financial analysis, reporting, SEC financial reporting, and SOX compliance - Opportunity to work with experienced professionals and learn from industry experts - Enhance understanding of financial processes and systems Required Qualifications: - Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program - Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables - Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail - Accounting major or equivalent - Comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives - Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver - Prefers to work independently with clear initial guidance/requests leveraging cross functional resources and teams - Driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others - Candidates must be based in the United States - Candidates must be authorized to work in United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future Required Skills: Financial reporting, Accounting standards compliance, Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Financial analysis, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Nice-to-Have Skills: Collaboration skills Benefits: Total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity
