Summary: ProDriven Global Brands is a leader in providing market products and brands on job sites worldwide. They are seeking a summer intern for their fall protection Product Development team to support design and development processes, applying engineering fundamentals while working in a cross-functional team. Responsibilities: - Support design and development by applying engineering fundamentals learned so far - Involved in all aspects of the design and development process, from initial brainstorms to concept development and analysis, through development testing and design for manufacture - Design for and work with processes varying from metal fabrication to plastic injection molding to engineered textiles Required Qualifications: - Eligible students must be currently enrolled in the school year of the assignment and the semester following their assignment - Candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program - Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a core engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials and Material Science or other relevant engineering disciplines) - Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills - Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision - Candidate must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) - Students must be able to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: - CAD (Solidworks or similar) proficiency preferred - CNC experience preferred - Rising juniors or seniors preferred Required Skills: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Materials engineering, Material science, CAD, SolidWorks, CNC, Analytical skills, learn quickly
