Job Summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking skilled Carpenters for projects in Holden, Louisiana. This role involves constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using various hand and power tools.

Job Responsibilities
* Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
* Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials.
* Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
* Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
* Work with other construction trades as needed to complete projects.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications**

* Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in heavy civil construction.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
* Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools common to carpentry.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
* Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
