About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Network Engineer to manage the design, deployment, administration, and maintenance of internet and network infrastructure across multiple commercial and residential properties in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should possess strong networking expertise with a CCNP certification, hands-on experience in Windows Server and System Administration, and practical knowledge of the physical deployment of internet infrastructure within buildings. The role requires a combination of technical networking knowledge and hands-on field experience, including cabling, fiber connectivity, network equipment installation, and troubleshooting.

Candidates with prior UAE experience in building management, facilities management, telecommunications, ISPs, or real estate infrastructure environments will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, VPN, and internet connectivity solutions for commercial and residential buildings.
• Configure and manage enterprise grade routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Coordinate with local ISPs and telecom providers for internet provisioning and connectivity services.
• Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime across managed properties.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, and performance-related issues.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems, fiber optic networks, patch panels, server racks, and network cabinets.
• Conduct site surveys and recommend infrastructure improvements and upgrades.
• Ensure network equipment is properly installed, configured, labeled, and documented.
• Support network expansion projects for newly acquired or developed properties.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers, and user administration.
• Perform system monitoring, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V.
• Assist installation and integration of CCTV surveillance systems.
• Assist in deployment and maintenance of ANPR systems.
• Coordinate network requirements for access control, parking management, and smart building systems.
• Ensure all security systems are properly connected and integrated with network infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, asset registers, and technical documentation.
• Follow IT security standards and best practices.
• Provide regular reports on infrastructure performance and project status.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CCNP Certification (Preferred / Strong Advantage).
• Minimum 3-5 years of total experience, including 2-3 years of experience within the UAE.
• Proven experience in deployment and management of building internet infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of:
• TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS & DHCP, Wireless Networking
• Firewall Management
• Hands-on experience with enterprise grade networking equipment
• Experience in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with:
• Commercial Towers, Residential Buildings, Property Management Companies
• Facilities Management Organizations, Telecom or ISP Providers
• Knowledge of ANPR systems.
• CCTV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with fiber optic networks and splicing coordination.
• Familiarity with Fortinet, Sophos, or Cisco security solutions.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Access Control Systems.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
