Summary: Prime Healthcare is dedicated to providing operational support to award-winning hospitals. The Business Analyst I will provide analytic support for various data domains, lead multiple projects, and analyze complex business problems to aid decision-making. Responsibilities: - The Business Analyst I reports to the Director and provides analytic support for a wide variety of data domains and business data needs - The Business Analyst I lead multiple concurrent projects as well as providing data strategic initiatives and decisions - Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight into decision-makers - Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences - Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge - Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements - Collaborate with clients to modify or tailor existing analysis or reports to meet their specific needs - May participate in management reviews, including presenting and interpreting analysis results, summarizing conclusions, and recommending a course of action Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Math, or related field required - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to make recommendations to management through presentations or written reports - Experience using varied statistical methods - Strong written and verbal communications skills - Experience managing revenue generating projects - Strong planning and organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills - Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions - Good general business skills, high degree of confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness, and business ethics - High degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity Preferred Qualifications: - One-year experience in analysis, interpretation and reporting data sets - Proficiency in MS Suite Required Skills: Data Analysis, Statistical Methods, Report Writing, Microsoft Office Suite, Maturity, Tactfulness, Business Ethics, Project Management, Planning, Decision Making Benefits: Paid time off, A 401K retirement plan, Medical, dental, and vision coverage, Tuition reimbursement, Many more voluntary benefit options
