As our Business & Intelligence (BUI) Intern, you will support internal data systems, reporting tools, and technical processes that enable our global operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management, basic data engineering, and business intelligence within a mission-driven organization.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
1. Support Data Management & Systems
- Clean, validate, and maintain datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in creating and updating Excel files and structured data records.
- Support mapping and alignment of data fields across systems.
2. Assist with Databases & Technical Tasks
- Write basic SQL queries and support database structure design.
- Help define tables, columns, data types, and relationships.
- Work with relational databases (RDBMS) and data structures.
3. Contribute to Reporting & Analytics
- Support development of Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Assist with simple data processing using Python.
- Help test and validate API data using tools such as Postman or Python.
4. Documentation & Cross-Team Support
- Prepare clear and structured technical documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues across teams to support data-related needs.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
Final-year bachelor’s or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or a related field.
Strong interest in data, systems, and analytics.
Basic knowledge of:
- SQL
- Python
- Relational databases (RDBMS)
Familiarity with:
- Excel
- Power BI
- APIs / JSON (basic understanding)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
INTERNSHIP SPECIFICS
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Indonesia, mainly remote
- Hours: 20 hours per week
- Mentorship: Dedicated supervisor and structured feedback throughout the internship
