Data Analyst Intern - Wildfire Risk Suite at Precisely in Remote

They are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support the retooling of their Wildfire Risk and Wildfire Risk Extreme products by identifying and organizing datasets, integrating AI tools into data preparation, and assisting the Product Management team. Responsibilities: - You will find data sources that fill gaps in our existing model inputs – specifically nation-wide structure loss, electrical distribution lines, property attributes and other data sources that may be identified during the model rebuilding process - Once found, you will organize the datasets into formats that can be absorbed by the production process - You will be involved in planning meetings during which you will look for opportunities for AI tools to be used effectively - You will help the project manager with tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: - An enthusiastic person to join our team for the summer to help us improve our Wildfire Risk and Wildfire Risk Extreme products - Ability to work independently or as part of a team, as needed - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Aptitude with internet research - Familiarity with AI tools and their appropriate use - Capacity to read and understand peer-reviewed literature - Competence with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word and Excel) Required Skills: Data sourcing, AI tools familiarity Important Skills: Microsoft Office, Internet research Nice-to-Have Skills: Literature comprehension, Independent work Benefits: Valuable experience related to the degree you are pursuing., Hands on experience at an established tech company., Networking opportunities with company leaders around the globe.
