Production Engineer at Precimax Engineers Limited in Mumbai(Badlapur)

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Production Engineer who is willing to take up Site Engineer responsibilities as required. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities as well as handling installation, execution, supervision, and commissioning activities at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and coordinate day-to-day production activities.
• Supervise manpower, materials, machinery, and production processes.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and timelines are achieved.
• Visit project sites and supervise mechanical installation and erection activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, vendors, and project teams at site.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings, layouts, and fabrication drawings.
• Monitor fabrication, erection, piping, equipment installation, and alignment work.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Prepare daily site/production progress reports.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability at site.
• Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
• Assist in testing, trial runs, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities and production records.
• Travel to project sites as and when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 14 years of experience in production, fabrication, erection, or site execution.
• Candidates with experience in industrial projects, plant setup, galvanizing plants, fabrication, or mechanical erection will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and basic engineering concepts.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage workers and contractors at site.
• Must be willing to travel and work at project sites as required.
• Practical, hardworking, and capable of working independently under site conditions.
