Build a Territory. Grow the Market. Own the Opportunity.

Power Utility Products Co. (PUPCO) is looking for a driven Territory Sales Manager to help expand our presence across the Eastern U.S.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than manage an existing book of business. PUPCO has significant growth opportunities in markets where we do not currently have dedicated sales representation, and we're looking for someone excited to open new doors, build relationships, and grow a territory.

The final territory will be defined based on where the selected candidate resides and where we see the greatest opportunity for expansion. We are particularly interested in candidates located within the North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Greater Philadelphia corridor.

What You'll Do

• Own territory performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability goals.
• Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs, purchasing decisions, and what is required to earn their business.
• Develop stocking programs and other opportunities that increase customer purchases and expand PUPCO’s market presence.
• Build and execute a territory plan that prioritizes target accounts, growth opportunities, and customer coverage.
• Prospect and win new customers while expanding business with existing accounts and reengaging customers who have gone quiet.
• Conduct purposeful customer and prospect visits, virtual meetings, and presentations that advance opportunities and secure clear next steps. Identify new markets, stocking programs, partnerships, and other opportunities to expand PUPCO's presence.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer insights, qualified opportunities, next steps, and forecasts.
• Partner with Inside Sales and internal teams to ensure responsive quoting, order processing, and customer follow-through.
• Stay informed on products, customer applications, market trends, and competitive activity.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, utility, electrical, infrastructure, or a related industry.
• Experience successfully managing a broad geographic territory and planning travel.
• A proven record of winning new business and growing existing accounts. Strong relationship-building, consultative selling, and closing skills.
• The discipline to manage your schedule, pipeline, and follow-through independently, with accountability for results. Ability to learn technical products and translate product knowledge into customer value.
• CRM proficiency; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60%.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 annually, based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic market, and other job-related factors.

Target Incentive Compensation: $40,000 annually at 100% target achievement, based on individual sales performance and achievement of established goals.

Total Target Compensation: $120,000 – $125,000 annually at 100% target achievement.

Actual incentive compensation may vary based on individual performance and achievement against established sales goals.

PUPCO offers medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); employer HSA contributions for eligible employees; paid time off and holidays; employer paid life and disability insurance; and additional company-sponsored benefits.

If you're energized by building a market, developing new customer relationships, and taking ownership of your results, we'd like to hear from you.
