The intern will support the Applications Engineering team with testing, debugging, and validation activities, gaining practical exposure to power electronics behavior under the guidance of experienced engineers. Responsibilities: - Assist with DER board power-up, testing, and debugging - Capture and analyze electrical waveforms using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and probes - Support surge testing activities, including test setup preparation, execution observation, and result documentation - Assist with EMC testing, including radiated and conducted emissions pre-compliance testing - Support ESD testing setup and evaluation to assess board-level robustness - Help identify anomalies in test results and support root-cause investigation under supervision - Document test procedures, results, and observations for internal reference and training materials Required Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of electronic circuits - 3rd year college undergraduate (or in MS/PhD program) who has completed a basic circuit analysis course - Field(s) of Study: Electrical Engineering Preferred Qualifications: - Strong foundational knowledge of electronic circuits Required Skills: Electronic circuits, Power electronics, Signal integrity, Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, Surge testing, Electrostatic discharge (ESD) testing, Oscilloscope usage, Waveform measurement, Debugging
