Job Description
Starting at 16.98 per hour | Requires flexibility to work various shifts
Are you looking to grow your culinary career? As a Cook 2, you'll use your previous kitchen experience to prepare a variety of menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Below are some of the responsibilities as a Cook 2:
- Prepare and cook quality menu items while following recipes and food safety standards.
- Prepare a variety of menu items, including appetizers, desserts, hot foods, meats, fish, and vegetables.
- Use various cooking methods, including griddle, flat top, fry, and other kitchen techniques.
- Safely operate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver high-quality food and exceptional guest service.
- Assist with inventory, stocking, opening and closing duties, and daily kitchen operations.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and sanitation standards.

What you need:
- At least 6 months of professional cooking experience.
- The ability to demonstrate intermediate cooking skills.
- The ability to obtain ServSafe Certification within 90 days.
- The ability to complete Culinary Academy within 12 months.
- Basic math skills.
- The ability to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, casino, or similar kitchen.
