Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment and system issues.
- Repair, replace, and install pool pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, chlorinators, salt systems, lighting, valves, plumbing, and related equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and lifespan.
- Inspect pool equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
- Identify repair opportunities and communicate recommendations clearly to customers.
- Complete repairs safely while following manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and applicable local codes.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair notes, and work orders.
- Keep company vehicle stocked, organized, and maintained.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with the service department regarding repair scheduling and customer communication.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool equipment repair, pool service, mechanical repair, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or a related technical field.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Applicable state licenses or trade certifications are preferred but not required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is preferred.
