About the Role
Policybazaar is looking for an experienced Motor Insurance professional to drive business growth through OEM and dealership partnerships. This is an Individual Contributor role focused on client acquisition, onboarding, relationship management, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new OEMs and automobile dealerships for motor insurance business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM and dealer clients.
- Drive client onboarding and account activation.
- Manage end-to-end client relationships and business development.
- Drive B2C Motor Insurance sales through assigned dealer/OEM networks.
- Conduct regular client/dealership visits and business meetings.
- Handle client-facing discussions, negotiations, documentation, and onboarding requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the assigned network.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and service delivery.
- Track business performance and achieve assigned revenue/sales targets.
- Travel extensively across the assigned territory as required.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Motor Insurance / OEM / Dealership Sales.
- Hands-on experience in Motor Insurance is mandatory.
- Experience working with OEMs and/or automobile dealerships.
- Strong B2C Sales and business development experience.
- Experience in Client Acquisition and Client Onboarding.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Strong knowledge of documentation and dealership processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- This is an Individual Contributor role; team handling experience is not required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates currently working in Motor Insurance, OEM Sales, Dealer Management, Automotive Sales, or Insurance Distribution with strong dealership/OEM networks will be preferred.
