Quality Auditor - Engines at Polaris Inc. in Roseau, MN

Summary: Polaris Inc. is a global leader in powersports, dedicated to innovation and quality. The Quality Auditor - Engines will ensure that all products shipped meet consumer expectations by conducting inline verification testing and collaborating with production personnel to identify and report on failure points. Responsibilities: - Support production by inspecting and verifying failure modes of critical gaging - Scheduling and data entry of daily critical audits - Ensure correct verification fixture testing and maintenance schedules - Make necessary recommendations for process improvements - Verification of Manufacturing Department materials and parts, assuring that they meet written specifications within established tolerances - Work overtime or vary working hours as needed - Attend company provided training - Cross train in other quality positions to back-up or assist other quality personnel as necessary - Challenge nonconforming product using proper chain of command and hold tag procedures - Maintain or input quality data/files as required - Communicate to appropriate personnel any necessary issues, findings, etc - Maintain quality inspection equipment as necessary - Work in safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations - Perform duties outside assigned area, as required - Maintain a neat and organized work area Required Qualifications: - Must have a working knowledge of PC software programs (i.e. Word Processing, spreadsheets, Database, Email) including the ability to enter and retrieve Data - Must be able to manage conflict and solve problems independently - Must be responsible, enthusiastic, trustworthy, and able to work with limited Supervision - Must have flexibility to cover other shifts when needed - Must have a performance history of quality conscious work, good attendance and safe work habits - Must have strong oral and written communication skills - Must have demonstrated organizational and leadership skills - Must be able to travel for extended periods of time for training - High School (High school diploma) Diploma or equivalent required Preferred Qualifications: - Preferred to be familiar with parts, tolerances, dimensions, problem areas, various inspection equipment, read prints, and quality terminology - Technical (Trades certificate / diploma) diploma or equivalent training preferred Required Skills: Failure mode testing, Inspection equipment, Quality terminology, Reading prints, Data entry, PC software - Word processing, PC software - Spreadsheets, PC software - Database, PC software - Email, Quality auditing, Manufacturing materials verification, Critical gaging inspection, Leadership skills, Conflict management Benefits: Competitive compensation, Market-leading profit-sharing plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Discounted employee stock purchases plan, Generous matching contribution to 401(k), Financial wellness education and consultation, Health, dental, and vision insurance, Wellness programs, Paid time off, Gym & personal training reimbursement, Life insurance and disability offerings, Polaris Gives paid volunteer time off
