The Manufacturing / Operations intern will support production teams by improving processes, troubleshooting equipment, and developing technical documentation to optimize efficiency and quality. Responsibilities: - Analyze current manufacturing methods to enhance employee safety, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality - Assist in designing, testing, and implementing new manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment - Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical reports - Identify root causes of equipment or product defects and assist in implementing corrective actions - Participate in 5S projects, waste elimination, and continuous flow improvement - Gather data to establish production rates, labor standards, and cost structures - Support day to day assembly line activity Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial, or manufacturing environment Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, CAD software Important Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills
