Senior Mobile Application Developer - PMB

Location: Malaysia

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient mobile applications, both on the front-end and back-end, using appropriate technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.
2. Serve as a core developer and subject matter expert in mobile application development, resolving complex technical issues and providing guidance to the development team.
3. Collaborate proactively with stakeholders, vendors and/or external parties to gather requirements and information, focusing on developing high-quality mobile applications and solutions.
4. Analyse requirements and translate them into technical designs, specifications, documentation and implementation plans.
5. Implement mobile applications with a focus on usability and responsiveness using modern mobile application frameworks such as React Native and Flutter.
6. Prepare builds and publish apps to Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery including handling app store review feedback, submission or compliance issues.
7. Develop APIs using programming languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript and C#, ensuring high performance, scalability, robustness and security.
8. Setup, containerize and deploy applications to cloud infrastructure such as Azure, Kubernetes, and Huawei Cloud.
9. Monitor, optimize, debug and improve application and infrastructure performance, stability and security.
10. Ensure code quality through version control process and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
11. Design, optimize and maintain relational and NoSQL databases.
12. Prepare test scripts and perform testing for each solution being produced to ensure that bugs are identified and corrected accordingly, and software quality is maintained.
13. Troubleshoot and resolve production and deployment issues and performing root cause analysis.
14. Prepare user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions for end-users, customers, system administrators, and support personnel as required.

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PMB) was incorporated on 29 November 2010 and is involved in investment holding. On 29 November 2011, PMB completed the acquisition of PLUS Expressways Berhad's (PEB) assets and liabilities. Pursuant there to, PMB became the holding company of Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan Berhad, Expressway Lingkaran Tengah Sdn Bhd (ELITE), Linkedua (Malaysia) Berhad (Linkedua), Konsortium Lebuh Raya Butterworth-Kulim Sdn Bhd (KLBK) and TERAS Teknologi Sdn Bhd (TERAS). In addition, PMB has also acquired Penang Bridge Sdn Bhd (PBSB) from UEM Builders Berhad. As part of the corporate exercise, Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PMB, was incorporated on 27 July 2011 to undertake the consolidation of all highway concessionaires acquired under a single entity. The acquisition of all five highway concession assets was completed on 12 January 2012. With the completion of the acquisition, PMB is the largest toll expressway operator in Malaysia and one of the largest in South East Asia.
