We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead software and technology projects from planning through delivery, ensuring that initiatives are completed within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and business objectives.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional technology teams, manage stakeholders, facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, identify and manage project risks, remove delivery impediments, and ensure effective communication between business and technical teams.

This role requires a strong understanding of software delivery, Agile methodologies, project governance, stakeholder management, and the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software and technology projects from initiation through planning, execution, deployment, and closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand-ups
• Sprint Reviews
• Sprint Retrospectives
• Backlog Refinement
• Manage product backlogs, sprint objectives, priorities, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Track project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
• Identify and remove impediments that may affect project delivery.
• Manage project scope and control scope changes through appropriate change-management processes.
• Establish project reporting processes and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, timelines, deliverables, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate application testing, deployment, production releases, and post-release activities.
• Maintain project documentation, delivery records, status reports, risk registers, and other project artefacts.
• Establish appropriate project governance, communication, escalation, and reporting processes.
• Work with leadership and business stakeholders to prioritize technology initiatives based on business objectives.
• Promote Agile principles, continuous improvement, accountability, transparency, and effective team collaboration.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
• Support project teams in resolving delivery challenges and maintaining focus on agreed priorities.
• Ensure project requirements, acceptance criteria, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked.
• Support continuous improvement of project-management and software-delivery processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in project management, software delivery, Scrum Master, or technology program management for mid-level candidates, with greater experience preferred for senior candidates.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing software-development or technology projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional technology teams.
• Strong project planning, coordination, and execution skills.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience using project-management and collaboration tools such as:
• Jira
• Azure DevOps
• Monday.com
• Asana
• Trello
• or equivalent platforms.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change-management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and competing requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing project documentation, status reporting, and governance processes.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
• PRINCE2 certification.
• AgilePM or equivalent Agile/project-management certification.
• Experience managing CRM, SaaS, mobile application, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise software projects.
• Experience coordinating distributed or remote technology teams.
• Experience working with vendors, external partners, and third-party service providers.
• Technical background or sufficient understanding of:
• Software architecture
• REST APIs
• Databases
• Cloud services
• Application development
• CI/CD and deployment processes
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud-based technology environments is an advantage.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
