Summary: Pivotal is the leader in the emerging market of electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. They are seeking an intern to assist in schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware bring-up while supporting testing and validation of electronic circuits and systems. Responsibilities: - Assist in schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware bring-up - Support testing, debugging, and validation of electronic circuits and systems - Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration - Conduct data collection and analysis to verify design performance - Document test results, revisions, and design improvements Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited university - Interest in eVTOL industry and personal flight - Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment - Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and leadership skills - Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident - Able to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA Required Skills: Schematic Design, PCB Layout, Hardware Bring-up, Electronic Circuit Testing, Debugging, Validation of Electronic Systems, Data Collection, Analysis, System Integration Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
