Summary: Pittsburgh Winsupply - Fire Sprinklers & Fabrication is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide white-glove IT support in a professional enterprise environment. The role involves onsite troubleshooting of hardware, software, and workstation issues, device deployment and setup, user account administration, ticket resolution, documentation, and collaboration with IT teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide white-glove, onsite desktop support to end users in a corporate environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows hardware, software, and peripheral issues
- Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment
- Respond to and resolve support tickets while meeting service level expectations
- Assist with device deployments, imaging, upgrades, and workstation setup
- Support Active Directory account administration, password resets, and user access requests
- Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures within the ticketing system
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused support experience with excellent communication
Required Qualifications:
- • 1+ years of Desktop Support, Help Desk, or IT Support experience
- • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows PCs, laptops, and common hardware peripherals
- • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
- • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT support best practices
- • Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- • Experience working in an enterprise IT environment
- • Familiarity with Active Directory, device imaging, and endpoint deployment
- • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- • Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management processes
