Direct Support Professional [M,T,W,TH, F]
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
About this position
Pinnacle is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will have a passion for serving others and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Current Openings and Schedule:
- Looking for a PT experienced DSP, Schedule (hours somewhat flexible):
- Mon 9a–2p, Tue 12p–3:30p, Wed 9a–2p, Thu 9a–3:30p, Fri 12:30p–5:30p
- Looking for a FT experienced DSP, Schedule (hours somewhat flexible):
- Mon/Wed/Fri 9a-5p, Tue 9a-1pm, Thu 9a-12p
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Ensure the individuals you support receive appropriate care for their medical and behavioral needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- DSP experience and comfort supporting behavioral needs
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a State of Oregon background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
