Job Description
Summary: PIMCO is a global leader in active fixed income, investing clients' capital across a range of opportunities. The Account Analyst will collaborate with various teams to ensure high service levels and support business development initiatives for institutional middle market clients.
Responsibilities:
- Increase efficiency and improve sales abilities by using business intelligence, AI/technology and data, deploying marketing and thought leadership regularly, segmenting clients routinely and recording client information in CRM via consistent profiling efforts
- Provide current insight regarding the firm and product specific investment philosophy, process, strategy, performance and other important information directly or indirectly to clients, prospective clients and consultants
- Build and maintain a variety of materials to support new business development and existing business initiatives
- Gather, analyze, and discuss market data and trends with colleagues and clients
- Summarize and explain sophisticated financial and economic concepts to internal stakeholders and clients
Required Qualifications:
- Open to applicants who graduated between May 2023 and June 2026 only
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.2
- Completion of Series 7 and 63 within the first three (3) months of employment
- 0-1 years of experience in the financial services industry and a strong interest in the financial markets and economics
- Knowledge of and interest in the financial markets, fixed income, and other asset classes
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong knowledge of data querying tools strongly preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a demanding and highly focused environment
- Outstanding relationship building skills and intellectual curiosity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Progress towards the CFA designation is a plus
