Summary: Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support aircraft production and service operations in Broomfield, CO. This role involves timely procurement and delivery of materials, managing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks. Responsibilities: - Processes approved purchase requisitions and generates purchase orders in accordance with company Rules of Authority and procurement procedures - Ensures accurate entry of pricing, delivery dates, quantities, and vendor terms within the ERP system (SAP / Quantum or equivalent) - Obtains and reviews supplier order confirmations to ensure pricing, quantities, and delivery dates match purchase order requirements - Monitors open purchase orders and proactively follows up with suppliers to confirm shipment schedules and mitigate delays - Tracks supplier delivery performance and identifies risks impacting aircraft build schedules or customer commitments - Escalates supply issues that could impact production or service operations - Generates replenishment orders based on established Min/Max inventory parameters - Supports inventory availability by monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment activity - Maintains organized records of purchasing documentation and supplier correspondence - Supports cross-functional initiatives related to supply chain performance improvement - Assists with special purchasing projects, supplier initiatives, or process improvement activities as directed by Purchasing leadership Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred - 1–3 years of purchasing, supply chain, or procurement experience preferred - Experience within aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or technical industries is highly desirable - Strong organizational and prioritization skills - Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and supplier communications simultaneously - Strong written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail and data accuracy - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Quantum Control, or similar platforms preferred Preferred Qualifications: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field - 1–3 years of purchasing, supply chain, or procurement experience - Experience within aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or technical industries - Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Quantum Control, or similar platforms Required Skills: Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, ERP Systems, SAP, Quantum Control, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Inventory Management, Supplier Management, Order Processing Benefits: 11 paid holidays a year, 15 days of paid vacation time, 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus, 90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9,600 annually, Monthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2,250 for single coverage and $3,000 for family coverage annually, 401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6%, Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in full, Tuition assistance available annually after the first year
