• Design, develop, and maintain API automation test suites.
• Validate RESTful and Microservices-based applications.
• Create reusable automation frameworks and utilities.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end API testing.
• Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling scenarios.
• Execute database validations and backend data verification.
• Integrate API automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test execution results and provide detailed defect reports.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and review requirements for testability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Required Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in API automation testing.
• Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, REST architecture, and Microservices.
• Experience with Postman, REST Assured, or Python Requests framework.
• Experience in database testing using SQL.
• Good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
