Job Description
The Digital PGS Acquisitions & Divestments Analytics Intern supports the enablement of data driven decision making, digital innovation, and operational transparency across the PGS Acquisitions & Divestments portfolio. The role contributes analytical insight, structured problem solving, and emerging AI capabilities to improve how the team plans, tracks, and communicates business outcomes, while gaining exposure to project and program delivery in a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Accountabilities & Core Responsibilities:
· Data Driven Insight Generation: Accountable for transforming structured and unstructured data into meaningful insights that support PGS A&D leadership decision making, prioritization, and performance tracking.
· Digital & AI Enablement: Contributes to the exploration, validation, and responsible use of AI enabled solutions (e.g., analytics automation, insight generation, decision support) aligned with enterprise standards and governance.
· Business Analysis & Problem Structuring: Supports the translation of business questions into analytical frameworks, ensuring clarity of assumptions, data sources, and success criteria.
· Project & Portfolio Support: Assists in maintaining visibility of initiatives across the PGS A&D portfolio by supporting structured reporting, dependency awareness, and outcome tracking in line with project management best practices.
· Stakeholder Communication & Transparency: Ensures that insights, risks, and trends are communicated clearly and consistently to technical and non technical stakeholders.
· Quality, Compliance & Documentation Awareness: Operates with awareness of Pfizer’s quality, compliance, and data integrity expectations when handling information, analytics outputs, and digital assets.
· Continuous Improvement Mindset: Actively identifies opportunities to simplify, standardize, or improve digital workflows and analytical approaches across PGS A&D activities.

· Improved decision quality through timely, insight driven analysis
· Increased visibility and transparency across PGS A&D initiatives
· Faster identification of risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
· Early adoption and validation of AI enabled productivity solutions
· Stronger linkage between data, strategy, and execution
· Development of a future ready digital talent pipeline for PGS Creation Center and CDI
Basic Qualifications
· Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate of, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in: Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar
· Demonstrated interest in digital transformation, analytics, and AI
· Foundational analytical skills with ability to interpret data and communicate insights
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
· Ability to work in a structured, regulated, and collaborative environment
· Curiosity, learning agility, and accountability mindset
Required Technical & Analytical Skills (Foundational level expected; growth supported during internship):
· Data analysis fundamentals (Excel, Power BI, SQL or equivalent)
· AI / advanced analytics concepts (ML, automation, prompt based tools, agentic design)
· Business analysis techniques (problem framing, requirements interpretation, KPI logic)
· Digital collaboration and documentation tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint)
· Structured thinking and basic project management concepts (scope, milestones, risks)
Additional Info / Preferred Skills Exposure to project or program environments (academic or other). Interest in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or supply chain domains. Comfort working across technical and non-technical audiences.
