Summary: PetVet Care Centers' Veterinary Referral Associates is seeking a Veterinary Biller to join their team. This role involves performing administrative and customer service tasks to support the hospital, including charge entry, client communication, and payment processing. Responsibilities: - Identify, enter, and verify daily inpatient charges for accuracy - Audit and verify daily ultrasound and radiograph charges - Audit outpatient bills before finalization - Monitor and resolve open PVLs daily - Provide daily financial updates to inpatient clients, review charges, update estimates, and collect payments throughout hospitalization - Create inpatient estimates as requested - Answer client billing and invoice questions - Respond to daily billing callbacks - Review outpatient boarding board and contact clients who departed without payment - Enter and reconcile weekly Trupanion payments - Maintain accurate electronic financial and medical records - Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure proper charge capture - Provide call center or front desk coverage as needed Required Qualifications: - Prior experience in a high-volume veterinary hospital or medical billing role - Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to mentally calculate percentages, differences, and totals - Ability to read treatment sheets and determine appropriate charges independently - Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and common procedures - Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy - Strong multitasking and prioritization skills - High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Idexx Cornerstone software is a plus!
