Summary: Persistent Systems, LLC is a growing business that develops Mobile Ad hoc Networking (MANET) wireless radio systems for US Government and commercial applications. The Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in filling positions in software, network, hardware, RF and electrical engineering fields, and will collaborate with universities to develop relationships for recruiting engineering talent. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies - Assist with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions - Identifie the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting diverse candidates - Draft recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions - Identify appropriate candidates through proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via multiple recruitment channels - Qualify candidates through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications - Schedule interviews for qualified candidates with hiring managers - Manage the candidate experience through efficient process management and maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications - Provide advice to hiring managers with final candidates - Manage applicant tracking system to actively track, manage and record candidate’s status - Facilitate contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace - Attend university job fairs and campus activities in order to spread a marketing footprint within the university career placement systems - Operate as an ambassador for the Persistent Systems Talent Brand - Collaborate with our leadership teams in order to relay the staffing needs of upcoming projects to the talent base - Manage the recruitment process of our internship program - Coordinate the transition process from internships to permanent placements within the company - Interface with university career counselors Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Business or related field of study - Strong understanding of technical engineering concepts with a focus on embedded software development - 1-3 years of full cycle technical recruiting experience within Software, Hardware or RF engineering fields - Outgoing personality with personal drive to create professional relationships - Articulate communication skills - Strong sense of urgency - Competitive nature - Must possess the ability to obtain US Security Clearance.
