About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Server-Side Test Engineer with strong expertise in Server-Side Testing, Database Testing, SQL Validation, and AI-assisted Quality Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating enterprise backend applications, databases, APIs, integrations, and distributed systems to ensure high quality, reliability, and performance. This role requires hands-on experience in backend testing, data validation, defect analysis, and modern AI-powered testing practices using tools such as Cursor AI. The successful candidate will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver robust and scalable enterprise applications.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test strategies for server-side applications.
• Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Database Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Validate complex backend systems, enterprise applications, APIs, and distributed platforms.
• Execute advanced database testing activities including data validation, reconciliation, and integrity verification.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for backend validation and testing requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create effective test scenarios.
• Validate data flow across multiple systems and interfaces.
• Perform API testing and backend service validation.
• Identify, track, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects.
• Conduct root cause analysis for application and data-related issues.
• Utilize Cursor AI and other AI-assisted testing tools for test case generation, defect analysis, automation support, and technical documentation.
• Leverage AI-powered capabilities to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with development teams to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
• Participate in automation framework enhancements and continuous testing initiatives.
• Work with version control systems such as Git and GitHub for test asset management.
• Support CI/CD testing and release validation activities.
• Prepare detailed test reports, defect reports, and quality metrics.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve testing processes, coverage, and quality engineering practices.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.
• Strong expertise in Server-Side Testing and backend application validation.
• Extensive experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Database Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Hands-on experience testing distributed systems, backend applications, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Advanced SQL skills with expertise in data validation, reconciliation, and database testing.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and database architecture.
• Experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of backend application architecture and system integrations.
• Experience validating data transformations, business rules, and data processing workflows.
• Hands-on experience utilizing Cursor AI, Claude AI, or similar AI-powered development and testing platforms.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted testing methodologies for test design, automation support, debugging, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality engineering principles.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development processes.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and test management platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect investigation skills.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
