SAP BO Administrator at Persistent in Hyderabad, Bengaluru

About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Business Objects (SAP BO) professionals they will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, and supporting enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions. They enable organizations to transform SAP and non-SAP data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and analytics for business decision-making.

What You'll Do:

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects environments.
• Administer BO components including Central Management Console (CMC), Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, BI LaunchPad, and Universe Designer.
• Manage users, groups, security roles, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Configure and maintain CMS repositories, BO servers, and clustered environments.
• Schedule, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize reports and workflows.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization.
• Manage platform backups, restore activities, and disaster recovery processes.
• Troubleshoot BO platform issues and coordinate with SAP Support for issue resolution.
• Monitor system health, server performance, and availability.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• BE/MBA/BCA/MCA or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Administration.
• Strong experience with SAP BO 4.x platform administration.
• Expertise in CMC, CMS, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, BI LaunchPad, and Universe Management.
• Strong understanding of user management, authentication, authorization, and security administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SQL and BI reporting environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Understanding of BI architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
