Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Porters for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. The Full-time Porters will organize and maintain the parking lot and the order of vehicles in the lot. The role will provide some shuttle support. The Porters will prepare tow vehicles and hitch and unhitch trailers for testing. This position is based out of Spartanburg, SC and offers an AM day shift. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full-time Porters position below are strongly encouraged to apply.

Shift:

• AM day shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday – Friday) and 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Saturday)

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain vehicle parking lot
• Provide shuttle support as requested
• Prepare and track executive evaluation vehicles
• Pick up and deliver inter-office mail and packages
• Break down and move vehicles for final disposition
• Maintain trailer fleet and hook/unhook trailers to vehicles for required testing

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of vehicle testing experience
• Excellent driving record and Valid driver’s license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to operate a manual transmission vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
• 1 year experience hooking and unhooking trailers to vehicles
