Planning Engineer – Landscaping Projects

Perfect Technical Works & Landscaping LLC is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our landscaping team in Dubai.

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and monitoring project schedules, tracking progress, identifying delays and risks, and coordinating with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and according to plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline, recovery, revised, detailed, and look-ahead programmes.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, critical activities, and potential risks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Track planned vs. actual manpower, equipment, materials, procurement, approvals, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, subcontractors, consultants, and other teams.
• Analyze project performance and identify activities that may affect project completion.
• Develop and recommend recovery plans and mitigation measures for delays.
• Maintain accurate progress records and update project schedules regularly.
• Attend planning, progress, and project coordination meetings.
• Support the Project Manager with programme updates, performance reviews, and completion forecasts.
• Maintain planning documentation and provide regular reports and updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Advanced MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and reporting.
• UAE construction or landscaping experience is preferred.
• Experience in hardscape, softscape, irrigation, swimming pools, or external works is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to analyze project data, identify delays, and recommend practical recovery solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
