As a Wastewater Technician, you will be responsible for the mixing of chemicals, conducting chemical analysis, and treating chemical waste from our facilities. Responsibilities: - Treat waste from processes and manage chemical waste, including filtration and the maintenance of chemical tanks - Collect and review data related to instrument performance, part pass/fail rates, and inventory usage, collaborating with engineering on baseline data monitoring - Inspect and process components from initial stage to completion, maintaining quality control - Support Chemists and Senior Wastewater Laboratory Technicians as needed - Maintain equipment calibration and operational status; participate in safety training as required - Communicate status updates, incidents, and requests with team members Required Qualifications: - Strong mathematical skills for processing inventory and performing complex calculations related to chemistry concentrations - Familiarity with chemical handling and safety protocols, particularly in relation to hazardous waste management - Knowledge of machinery and pumps related to wastewater treatment processes Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with chemical background and hazardous waste management, particularly in industrial settings Required Skills: Chemical analysis, Chemical handling, Hazardous waste management, Wastewater treatment machinery, Pump operation, Safety protocols, Equipment calibration, Data collection and review, Mathematical skills for chemistry calculations Benefits: Generous PTO, 401K program with employer matching contribution, Health, dental, vision Insurance (with generous employer contribution), Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance (fully employer paid), Life and AD&D (employer paid & voluntary option), Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
