Penmac Staffing is hiring HVAC Assembly Technicians for a first‑shift opportunity with one of our manufacturing clients. These are limited openings, and we are seeking candidates with a strong background in hands‑on, detailed assembly and construction‑related skills. This role is best suited for individuals who are comfortable reading blueprints, working from precise measurements, and assembling complex components.

This role is best suited for individuals who are comfortable reading blueprints, working from precise measurements, and assembling complex components.
HVAC Assembly Technician Responsibilities
- Assemble HVAC units and components according to blueprints and work instructions
- Perform framing, detailed mechanical assembly, and component installation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools accurately, including tape measures
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Work closely with team members to meet quality and production standards
- Maintain a safe, organized work area
- Recent experience in framing, remodeling, commercial construction, building trades, or detailed mechanical assembly
- Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- HVAC experience is a plus
- Electrical experience is a plus
- Stable work history with all employment gaps accounted for
- Resume must be current, and professional references must be verified
- Ability to work a first‑shift schedule of 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Willingness to work Saturdays during peak summer months as needed
- Must be able to meet pre‑employment requirements, including background screening
- Pay starts at $17.50 per hour and may be higher based on experience and skill level
- Full‑time, first‑shift position
- Long‑term or temp‑to‑hire opportunity, depending on performance and business needs
