Programme Overview

In 2015, Peepul began its journey by turning around an under-resourced government school through the first Public Private Partnership in Delhi. The results were remarkable, as enrolment numbers increased from 9 to 200 students in just one year. Our primary focus was to ensure that 80% of the children met or exceeded grade-level expectations. As enrolment continued to grow and the school had a waiting list, we decided to expand our reach by taking on two more schools in Delhi. Currently, we are supporting more than 1400 students across these three Exemplar Schools, which now serve as beacons of excellence and provide constant guidance for all our programs on "what good should look like." As practitioners who believe in demonstrated impact, we take pride in pioneering the turnaround of three ailing schools into visual exemplars, in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
