Job Description
Summary: Pearson is the world’s learning company, dedicated to helping people acquire the knowledge and skills they need for success. They are seeking a Strategy Intern to support their agentic operations and enablement objectives during a 10-week summer internship, focusing on strategy, innovation, and emerging technology. The role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise transformation, and business strategy, working alongside senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support high-impact initiatives that help shape how the organization experiments, learns, and scales new ideas
- Contribute to projects that range from strategic research and analysis, to operational improvement, to exploring new technologies and ways of working
- Gain exposure to how a large, global enterprise thinks about technology strategy, innovation governance, and continuous learning
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, engineering, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, finance or a related field
- Demonstrated curiosity about technology, innovation, and how organizations operate and evolve
- Familiarity with or interest in areas such as MS365 tools, AI and emerging technologies, design thinking, process design, agile ways of working, data concepts, or technology architecture
- Strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a distributed or remote team
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
