Summary: Pearce Services is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure throughout North America. The Generator Technician will maintain and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers, requiring travel within the region and offering opportunities for growth. Responsibilities: - Maintain, diagnose, and repair generator systems, install and replace components, and perform upgrades - Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance, adhering to blueprints and design specifications - Install and test fuel, water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls for proper operation - Respond promptly to generator alarms and be available for 24/7 on-call duty if necessary - Ensure safety and awareness of potential hazards in installations and maintenance of power supply equipment. Attend all safety and training meetings Required Qualifications: - Minimum of one year of generator and electrical maintenance experience; two or more years preferred - Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair, including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components. Moderate computer skills required - Basic understanding of FCC, FAA, EPA, and OSHA regulations - Compliance with OSHA standards and ability to pass a DOT physical - Capability to lift over 50 pounds, perform physical tasks, and troubleshoot effectively - Willingness to drive long distances and work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
