Job Description
Kosovo’s leading civil society organizations and public institutions are looking for strategic thinkers and grant‑writing mentors to shape a sustainable future.
Kosovo’s civil society has evolved from post‑war relief to long‑term development, yet many non-government organizations (NGOs) and public institutions now face funding instability as major donors shift their priorities elsewhere. Organizations serving marginalized communities, education, and public health remain dependent on a narrow set of traditional grants and lack a variety of income streams, such as private philanthropy or corporate sponsorships. Limited staff capacity, a lack of donor databases, and insufficient resource mobilization structures further constrain their ability to secure and manage funding. These gaps make it difficult for organizations to sustain essential services independently, underscoring the need for external support.
As a Resource Mobilization Advisor, you will collaboratively assess organizational assets, co‑design resource mobilization strategies, and mentor staff through the full grant lifecycle to strengthen the future of these essential programs. You will co‑write competitive proposals, expanding donor networks and improving grant‑tracking systems. By establishing sustainable fundraising frameworks and mentoring teams to manage them effectively, you will help ensure vital community services—from minority learning centers to neonatal healthcare support—can continue independently for years to come.
