Responsibilities: - Maintain and record business transactions for assigned accounts, including A/P and A/R functions routine accounting activities - Perform general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications - Interface with store managers and personnel to ensure efficient store processing, providing timely and accurate data, preparing statements and basic financial reports - Generate and reviews customer financial statements, posts journal entries, and reconciles accounts (including period close process) including billing, bank statements, and credit card settlements - Review and analyze monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness, providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented - Follow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial data - Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking tools Required Qualifications: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Intermediate Excel skills - Excellent customer service skills - Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future Preferred Qualifications: - Convenience store or retail experience is a plus Required Skills: Excel skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Customer service skills, Retail experience Benefits: Market-competitive benefits, Quarterly perks program, Ample time off [time away], Hybrid working arrangements, Access to continuous learning, Professional certifications, Leadership development opportunities
