The MEP intern will provide BIM expertise using Revit for system modeling and assist in engineering tasks under supervision, while developing professional judgment and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: - Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks - Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives - Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids - Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member - Good interpersonal skills to analyze and resolve problems - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment - Self-directed and organized with a strong work ethic Required Qualifications: - Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineering or other related field required - Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software - Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position - A university student with who has completed at least through their junior year - Good written and verbal communication skills Required Skills: Revit, MEP system modeling, System sizing and layout tools, Engineering calculations, Spreadsheet software, Word processing software
