They are seeking a Collegiate Civil Intern to assist in various civil engineering projects, providing support under the supervision of a project manager or senior team member. Responsibilities: - Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks - Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives - Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids - Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member - Good interpersonal skills to analyze and resolve problems - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment - Self-directed and organized with a strong work ethic Required Qualifications: - Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental engineering or other related field required - Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software - Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models) - A university student with who has completed at least through their junior year - Good written and verbal communication skills Required Skills: Civil engineering, Environmental engineering, CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic models, Hydraulic models, Spreadsheet software, Word processing software
