Associate, Capital Markets at Pathstone in Newtown Square, PA

Summary: Pathstone is a growing wealth management firm serving ultra-high net worth families and foundations. The Associate in Capital Markets will work collaboratively to assist in client service, daily operations, and administrative duties while providing support to Client Advisory teams in implementing investment strategies. Responsibilities: - Provide support to the Client Advisory teams in the communication and implementation of client investment strategies - Work within the Capital Markets Group and adhere to the firm’s process and procedures - Act as information provider to custodians, accountants, banks, investment managers, and other professionals also supporting clients Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required - Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and client service skills - Detail-oriented and understanding of time-sensitive issues - Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel - Comfortable speaking with industry professionals concerning money movements, account openings, trades within accounts, and basic daily operations - Shows a positive attitude and initiative in all aspects of the position, and the ability to prioritize tasks in the face of competing demands - Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - 0 – 2 years' experience preferred - Basic understanding of investments, including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternatives is a plus Required Skills: Microsoft Excel, Client service, Investment strategies, Mutual funds, Separately managed accounts, Alternatives Benefits: Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, Flexible spending options, Flexible PTO, Life insurance, Education support, A 401(k) plan, Parental leave, Discretionary bonus award
