Intern (UAE National)
Dubai, UAE
Parsons offers an internship program and are seeking highly motivated focused on all areas across the Infrastructure and Transportation sectors to join our internship program.
Our interns are gaining hands-on experience, expanding their knowledge, and growing their network during their time with as us, as well as receiving access to events for their professional development and curated mentorship. As part of our internship program, interns aren’t just here to learn what we do — they're here to contribute to our culture, elevate their careers, and imagine next with us. With providing an exceptional experience for our interns. The program consists of multi subjects and will be conducted for the period required from your educational institution.
What You'll Be Doing:
Observe electrical engineers during design, review, and coordination activities
Learn to use basic electrical engineering tools and software under guidance
Assist with simple, supervised tasks such as:
Updating drawings, schedules, and load lists
Organizing calculations, data sheets, and project documents
Preparing basic reports or presentation material
Learn how to read and interpret single-line diagrams, layouts, specifications, and other technical documents
Observe meetings with other disciplines, clients, and contractors to understand workflows and decision-making
Support in basic document control activities
Follow all safety procedures and company policies in office and site environments
Education
Currently pursuing electrical bachelor’s degree or a relevant engineering discipline
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of core electrical engineering concepts such as:
Power distribution, lighting, and low current systems
Basic circuit theory and protection concepts
Familiarity with common productivity tools such as MS Office (Word,\ Excel,\ PowerPoint)
Exposure to electrical design/drafting software through coursework is an advantage
