Electronics Intern at Parsons Corporation in Ijamsville, MD

They are seeking an Electronics Intern to perform basic assembly, testing, and troubleshooting tasks on RF and digital products, while collaborating with senior team members and gaining hands-on experience in an ITAR controlled environment. Responsibilities: - Assembly, trouble-shooting and final test on a variety of products and sub-assemblies - Fabrication of sub-assemblies and cable harnesses - Participating in final inspections and packaging for outgoing products - Assisting with the preparation and updating of documentation - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Must be a US citizen or Permanent resident - Must have strong organizational skills - Must possess strong oral and written communication skills - Must be proficient with MS Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite - Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis - Must have experience using hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.) - Must have knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge mitigation - Must be familiar with AC and DC power - Must be familiar with the electromagnetic spectrum - Must have knowledge of basic schematics/wiring diagrams Preferred Qualifications: - Must have familiarity with soldering and wiring splices - IPC certification or equivalent preferred Required Skills: MS Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Hand tools, Electrostatic Discharge mitigation, AC power, DC power, Electromagnetic spectrum, Basic schematics, Wiring diagrams, Soldering, IPC certification Benefits: 401K
