Commercial HVAC Technician Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of Commercial and Residential HVAC Service experience required
• Diagnostic / Troubleshooting experience required
• Experience with Commercial Equipment Up to 20 - 30 Tons required
• Experience with projects such as Schools, Office Buildings, or Healthcare / Government buildings preferred
• Chiller / Refrigeration experience is a plus

Commercial HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

• This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining primarily commercial HVAC systems, with occasional residential service work
• Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC equipment, completing repairs, replacing components, and conducting system startups
• Work may include RTUs, VRF/VRV systems, mini-splits, split systems, heat pumps, boilers, chillers, furnaces, air handlers, package units, ventilation equipment, and HVAC controls on light commercial and residential systems up to 20–30 tons
• Complete diagnostic troubleshooting the HVAC System from wiring diagrams and schematics.
